AB	En Mozes, toen hij het kleinvee hoedde van Jethro (zijn schoonvader, de priester in Midian); en dat hij het kleinvee leidde achter de woestijn, toen kwam hij bij de berg Gods Horeb.
SV	En Mozes hoedde de kudde van Jethro, zijn schoonvader, den priester in Midian; en hij leidde de kudde achter de woestijn, en hij kwam aan den berg Gods, aan Horeb.
WLC	וּמֹשֶׁ֗ה הָיָ֥ה רֹעֶ֛ה אֶת־צֹ֛אן יִתְרֹ֥ו חֹתְנֹ֖ו כֹּהֵ֣ן מִדְיָ֑ן וַיִּנְהַ֤ג אֶת־הַצֹּאן֙ אַחַ֣ר הַמִּדְבָּ֔ר וַיָּבֹ֛א אֶל־הַ֥ר הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים חֹרֵֽבָה׃
Trans.	ûmōšeh hāyâ rō‘eh ’eṯ-ṣō’n yiṯərwō ḥōṯənwō kōhēn miḏəyān wayyinəhaḡ ’eṯ-haṣṣō’n ’^aḥar hammiḏəbār wayyāḇō’ ’el-har hā’ĕlōhîm ḥōrēḇâ:

AC	א ומשה היה רעה את צאן יתרו חתנו--כהן מדין וינהג את הצאן אחר המדבר ויבא אל הר האלהים חרבה
ASV	Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, unto Horeb.
BE	Now Moses was looking after the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he took the flock to the back of the waste land and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
Darby	And Moses tended the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock behind the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God -- to Horeb.
